I’ve rounded up a list of Christmas market dates for some of the biggest European markets this Winter season! I’ve also included official websites, where able, so you can explore the wide variety of markets!
Cologne, Germany
Cologne’s Christmas Market is running from November 23 until December 23, 2023. Find out more information about Cologne’s Christmas activities here.
Nuremberg, Germany
Nuremberg’s Christmas festivities kick off on December 1 and run until Christmas Eve (December 24). More details can be found at this link.
Munich, Germany
The Christmas Markets in Munich begins on November 27 and ends on December 24. Found out more about the various Munich Markets here.
Vienna, Austria
There are several small markets around the city of Vienna. For 2023, they open at different dates beginning-mid November and most end by Christmas Eve, but some last until the New Year. Find out the details at this link.
Budapest, Hungary
Official dates for the markets in Budapest has not yet been announced, but they usually operate from mid-November until Christmas Eve. Watch for more info here!
Gdansk, Poland
The Gdansk Market has been voted #2 European market in recent years! For 2023, it will open on November 18 and close on December 23. You can read more about it and other Polish markets at this link.
Prague, Czech Republic
Prague markets will be opening on December 2 this year, and run all the way until January 6! Check this link for details on the best markets around the city.
Brussels, Belgium
The Christmas market in Brussels will begin on November 24 and end on December 31. Keep an eye on this website for more details on their big event!
There are hundreds of Christmas Markets around Europe! No matter which you decide to explore, it’s sure to be a magical experience.
